Mom's surgery went well yesterday, and she spent the night in the ICU. This is apparently standard procedure for after this surgery. Sometime today they are moving her to a room where she will stay for several days until she is able to get up and walking around on her own. She is at Baylor in Plano where she had her previous hospital visits for the broken leg, lung, and heart surgeries. It's a great facility and she enjoys the staff there as well as their excellent food. No kidding, the food is great!
Anyway, that is about all I know for now. I won't see her until tonight when I leave work. I'll be sure to update more as I have more to tell!
