The Moth Hunter

My nephew Jake is just so curious and funny about the world around him. And I love that his parents go right along with it while he discovers everything his world has to offer. The other night he "found" a big, juicy moth that had died when it landed in their halogen lamp. It's wings are singed off, or "broken" as Jake puts it. On the phone he also told me the moth was sleeping. His mommy labeled the plastic dish he was carrying his moth around in with her label maker. Then Jake wanted to cover the top of the container so the moth wouldn't escape. I've included the photos below, for your enjoyment.

Aren't 3 year olds FUN?
